National Transgender Day of Rememberance 2011

Tomorrow is the National Transgender Day of Remembrance which is held in local communities and campuses across the nation to memorialize those who have been killed due to anti-transgender bigotry. Victims of anti-transgender violence have been largely invisible and attackers are at times not brought to full justice. NTDOR brings together communities to mourn and honor victims of anti-transgender hate crimes and work towards respect and regard for all people regardless of gender identity or expression.
