Proud Haven is pleased to offer our Legal Rights Series of events, focusing on legal issues that may affect LGBTQ+ youth. This first session will feature civil rights attorney Megan Block, speaking about employment law.

Youth are welcome to bring their questions to ask Megan, and some light refreshments will be provided. This is a relaxed conversation, so feel free to bring up what’s on your mind.

Topics will include:
–How to apply for unemployment
–Protections on the job
–How to call a lawyer and which lawyers to call

Space is limited; we ask that you RSVP so we can be sure to accommodate everyone who is interested. To RSVP, please contact host Julie Strickland-Gilliard at julie.strickland-gilliard@proudhaven.org.
