Young trans, gender expansive, and non-binary Pennsylvanians: We appreciate your willingness to submit a thank you video to Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine. She has been a smart, effective, and dedicated public official helping save the lives of countless Pennsylvanians.
She has faced extreme transphobia in the recent months, and we feel it’s important that young trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming Pennsylvanians have a way to say ‘thank you’ to her. This project is voluntary. Please complete this form and then you will be sent a link to upload your video. Not all submissions may be included in the final video due to editing constraints. This thank you video will be sent directly to Dr. Levine and may be posted publicly online. You can record your video on a phone, computer, or camera. We ask that you please start your video by stating: “My name is [First Name Only] and I am from [Location in Pennsylvania]”. We ask that you answer the following questions in your video: Why do feel its important for Dr. Levine to be out as a trans woman? It she inspiring to you? Does her visibility make you feel safer? Please answer what Dr. Levine’s leadership means to you in your own words. We ask that you please end your video by stating: “We support you.
